FriendForge

About FriendForge and Me

Welcome to FriendForge! This application was created out of a desire to enhance personal connections by providing a simple, private way to remember and manage the unique aspects of our friends.

In our increasingly digital world, it's easy to lose track of the subtle nuances that make each friendship special. FriendForge aims to bridge that gap, allowing you to quickly recall details like a friend's sense of humor, their favorite foods, or even their punctuality. This isn't about categorizing people, but rather about building stronger, more thoughtful relationships by being more attentive and remembering the things that matter to them.

My Motivation

This project helped me understand data persistence in the browser, dynamic DOM manipulation, and building a clean, user-friendly interface. It represents my passion for creating useful tools that blend functionality with appealing design.

About the Creator

Born on November 15, 2006, I'm Reman Dey, a physics enthusiast who thrives on hands-on innovation and solving tough research-oriented problems. My passion comes alive through projects like a functioning hovercraft, a sophisticated laser-based transmitter and receiver, a quadcopter, and even a Tesla turbine. Beyond hardware, I delve into software too, having developed the FriendForge app and created two Python-powered Telegram bots, Dodo and Luna.

My academic journey reflects this drive; I've successfully qualified for JEE Advanced and Mains and cleared NSEA twice, demonstrating a solid grasp of scientific principles. Outside of my technical pursuits, I unwind with origami, specializing in intricate paper planes, and enjoy playing percussion instruments.
